Introduction
Effective October 2023, most continuing BIM students as well as all new BIM students will complete the university-validated and state-recognized Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Global Business top-up degree program that is organized in partnership with Coventry University in the UK.
Dual degree
In the past months since the announcement of the partnership and program, we’ve worked on the integration of the BA top-up degree program in our existing program offering. The result of this work is that most continuing BIM students as well as all new BIM students will graduate with a dual degree:
- the Bachelor in International Management (BIM) degree (in their area of concentration) from UIBS;
- the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Global Business top-up degree from Coventry University.
All coursework in the BA top-up degree program will be completed online. In case more capacity in the courses is needed, the program may expand on-campus. The BA top-up degree program content will be the final 60 credits in the dual degree program. For students with an area of concentration, the area of concentration will not be affected. Students will complete the credits needed for the concentration prior to starting the BA top-up degree program, or, in exceptional cases, during the program.

New BIM students can refer to the website for the updated program requirements. The upcoming registration sessions will provide further information. All new BIM students in October 2023 will be automatically registered for the dual degree. All new and continuing students in a BBS or BBA degree program may also optionally register for the BA top-up degree program resulting in a single or dual degree.
